2 weeks agoI heard about Joy's from a neighbor and she said you have to go there. So I did and I wasn't disappointed! I wanted something basic feeling that if they do that right, the other food will be as good. The burger was fresh and juicy. The roll was soft and fresh, with toppings that had a lot of flavor. The waitress was helpful in reviewing the menu and answering questions. The menu is full of classics with a twist. Yum... I will be going back!

a month agoFirst time there... little known secret in Mechanicsburg. This place has great food. I had the cheeseburger well done. And aside of fries, crispy, handcutt all for $12. I also had a custom milkshake light chocolate for $5. This thing slays 5 guys, much better and the fries are so much crispier something 5 guys won't do for you.

3 months agoWow. I googled "best food near me" and this place came right up. I must say, the search delivered! We were left pretty speechless, initially, by the size and value, alone, and then once we tried our first bites, we were absolutely in heaven! Our juicy, delicious burgers were cooked perfectly. Awesome, fresh fries! We will definitely be back. Very friendly staff, too! Here is a picture of the Memphis burger with pulled pork and an onion ring.

4 months agoI can't believe I haven't done a review on this local delight. I have been here a few times, always super friendly and tries to help everyone timely, usually pretty busy. I got the downtown burger this time. Now I am not a fan of Mac n cheese, but this Mac mash up is the best messy burger. The hand cut fries are sssssooooooo good. But dont take my word for it, go there and then get some delicious ice cream too.

4 months agoDelicious, huge juicy burger. I believe it was called the Roadhouse. I didn’t know it would have 2 patties in addition to the pulled pork on top. When it came out I thought I’d never be able to eat it all - but I ate more than I expected to because it was very good. The fries are fresh cut and also delicious. Service was quick and friendly, and they have a kids menu. My son easily found something he liked. We will definitely be back.

4 months agoHow have I not known of this place sooner? I'm a local, and this is now my new favorite burger joint. Mom & Pop shop vibes with a modest-sized space. When you walk in, you'll seat yourself with options of booths, a few two-person tables, and a counter right in front of the grill. There were a few regulars that came in who knew the staff and the staff knew them, adding to the warm atmosphere and feeling of community. The kitchen is open concept, adding to their transparency and pride in their food. I can see why, I tasted it! Fresh burgers, fresh cut fries, and sauce that's freshly made in-house. I had the Louisiana burger with fresh cut fries, and my boyfriend had the double bacon cheeseburger with sweet potato fries (exactly what he was craving). One of the only places I can eat a burger and feel good after. I didn't feel bloated or heavy like I do eating burgers elsewhere. The service is top-notch. Our server was Melissa, the only server on the floor when we came, and she rocked it. Clearly experienced, very timely, friendly and relatable, she was motivated by giving us a good experience and serving us good food. We are definitely coming back.

6 months agoThis is THE BEST burger I’ve had in years! Cooked exactly how I wanted, juicy and flavorful. I got the burger with Mac and Cheese on it and it came with hand cut fries. I highly recommend this place! Not only was the food delicious, but the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming!

a year agoThis was our first time at Joy's, and it definitely won't be our last! Their burgers are so good and had such a great flavor. My bf got their fried chicken and really enjoyed how juicy and tender the meat was. The staff are all very sweet and have made the experience even better. I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious food!
